iPad exploration
The students finally got to work on the iPads! We used the first grade Splash Math app to practice counting and comparing numbers!
Storytelling
We know that good writers start as good storytellers. Today we read The Little White Rabbit by Kevin Henkes. The rabbit wonders what what he would be like to be tall, still, green, and to fly! We shared all the things we wonder about and then wrote about it in our readers notebook!
#bestdayever
Friday, September 9 marked the K-1 Fun Walk and our frist visit from New Albany Eagle football player Kaleb Thompson!

Closing Meeting!
Each day we end our day by reflecting upon what went well (plus) and what we need to work on (delta). We then try to turn our deltas into a plus the following day!
